The morning sun kisses you gently
You wake up so softly, slowly,
Your cheeks blush pink, you glow in gold,
Watching you is seeing a dream unfold.

You light up the world with your sunny smile
Your silky tresses are the clouds fragile
You turn into a goddess in azure blue
That’s when I fall in love, again and again with you.

When behind the ocean hides your beloved sun,
You know it won’t be long before his return
Yet you mope and sulk in deepening twilight
And then you passionately embrace the night.

As night falls you turn into a princess
You glitter in a million sparkling starry gems.
Adorn yourself in a black velvet gown,
The majestic moon set in your crown.

When you release the fury of your anger,
You speak to me through words of thunder.
Your pretty face turns grey, swirling in pain,
Your eyes flash, you cry tears of the rain.

Everyday your beauty and your strength I admire,
You create the wind, the water and the fire.
I wonder within you, what secrets you hold,
Some revealed to me, some never to be told.

Yet another leaf

I look up at the stars, night after night;
Twinkling brightly in the dark sky,
And think of the million years,
Those have silently passed by.
Since they first shone,
Nothings ever been the same.
Thousands have gone,
From thousands who came.
Faces who smiled,
And faces who cried,
Souls who came to live,
And unknown, alone died.
I wonder why am I here
To my life, is there a reason…
I know, I am just another leaf
In yet another passing season.
I see only questions here,
Thrown up new by each new day,
Some perched like milestones
Others, just pebbles on the way
How do I matter? Do I count?
Is there a destination, near or far?
When I look up at night, I hope
To find the answers behind a star.

Yesterday

Yesterday I woke up with a smile,
And I hadn’t done that in quite a while,
Scolded the mirror for being a cheat,
When I saw your face and skipped a beat,
I told the day, ‘you are great’
‘Come let’s write a story for my fate’.
Walked into the sun and grinned at the sky
Knew how it felt to be soaring high,
Walked at a distance above the ground
Guarded a secret I knew I had found
Touched a flower on my way out,
Knowing, you would bring spring without a doubt
Out in the sun, I waited for long,
Strained my ears to hear your song
Fell over myself to catch your words,
Before they flew away like stray birds
I waited past the sun’s drowning hour,
Till the darkness could descend no lower
Waited for warmth to come my way,
For the time to come when there’s lots to say
The rains came down, colder that night
I waited for them to put everything right.
But the storm came to carry you away,
And there was nothing that either could say
The black that lasted was longer than ever
Light seemed infinitely farther
All I knew was, truth had to be shed,
A wish had to be killed; a heart had to be bled
A desire had to be rested in a grave
A façade had to be donned that was brave
An age had to pass before winter weaned
Time had to stop, before the ice thinned
An infinite second to go before I smiled again,
A reason for the sky to cry tears of rain

Standing in the middle of a happy crowd,
With music, talk and laughter around,
I hear no song, no words, no sound,
All are drowned in a silence so loud.

A silence that speaks only to me
The silence that follows loneliness
As I stumble through life's madness
Loneliness, constantly keeps me company.

Even when soaked in warm sun rays
I feel a cold shadow creeping over me
A feeling from which I cannot flee,
I know ahead only a long lonely road lays.

I need someone to call my own ,
To talk to me softly , lovingly ,
To listen to me selflessly , quietly ,
To tell me tenderly, “you are not alone”.

and distances grew,
I realized I love you
More than I knew.
The rustling dunes
And the oceans blue,
My every breath
Are now images of you.
And though I know
You can’t be around
I look up expectantly
Towards every sound,
Hoping against hope
I search for your face,
Awaiting a miracle
I spend my days.
Although I know
That you can’t be here,

The Phoenix and the ashes

Tell me a story, my heart needs to cry,
Give me a pain, for long my eyes have been dry.
Bring me a joy, share a smile with me,
open my eyes, tell me there's much to see.
Light up my world, like the first sun ray
Transforms each night into each new day.
For too long have I slaved under worldly realties,
Within too many limits of human sensibilities.
Break the bonds tying me down, I need to soar high,
Feel the freedom of the clouds and embrace the sky.
Set me free, let my fantasies fly,
Let me live a million times,before I die.
Liberate my soul, free my mind,
The questions are many,the answers I need to find
My feelings have been caged now for too long,
Too many times have I sung someone else’s song
Sing with me to the stars and play with the moonbeams,
Take me with you to the realm of dreams.
Too long under a grave of rules have I lain.
Help me to rise, like a phoenix from the ashes again.

A whole life to live, before I leave.
A bond to break, a will to run free
A name to write, on the pages of history.
A soul to fly, a secret to unfold
In both my hands, the stars to hold.
A goal to reach, a milestone to set
A love to feel, a friend to get.
Tears to wipe, And smiles to bring
A story to tell, A song to sing.
A game to play, To win a prize
A vision to see, A dream to realize.
A flower to bloom, In warm sunlight,
A silver moon to admire, On a winter night.
An image to create, In the mind's eye,
A sunset to engrave, On a violet sky.
So much to take, So much to give,
Before I leave, A whole life to live.

Infinite is the love i feel for you .... I dont know where it stops.

Infinite are the things that I dont say .... I keep them to myself.

Infinite are the meanings of all that I say ... But dont convey

Infinite are the things I could have done .... but didnt.
Infinite were the possibilities ... they still are
Infinite are the promises of tomorrow ... Dont know which one will be fulfilled.

Infinite is what has happened.
Infinite is what is is yet to happen

Infinity is me.
